At The Aquila School, we are proud to say that we only recruit teaching staff with a passion for lifelong learning and the desire to share that passion with children, colleagues and the community.

Highly Qualified and Diverse Teaching Staff

All of our teachers are appropriately qualified and approved by our local regulator to teach in our school.

Almost all of our teachers come from the UK or Ireland, and have taught, or are eligible to teach, in England. Many of our teachers have also worked internationally, as well as here in the region.

They boast between them a vast range of skills and experiences to cover the blended British curriculum that we offer.

Our Arabic and Islamic teachers have the approriate teaching and academic qualifications from here in the Middle East.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children. Very strict and detailed safer recruitment practices, pre-employment background checks, and police checks are undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. This applies to all adults who work in our school regardless of their role.
