A new academic year has begun, and the excitement on campus is unmistakable.

The Aquila School, part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), students returned this August to classrooms buzzing with energy and plenty of new opportunities ahead. Our school continues to be a trusted choice for families in Dubai, where confidence grows and every child makes progress.

A Message from the Principal

Coming back to school is one of our Principal’s favorite times of the year:

I always love the start of a new school year. This is the start of my 27th year of being a school Principal - and despite this the excitement is still there. From welcoming our new teachers with their broad experiences from all over the world - to seeing how quickly our new pupils settle in to having amazing learning every day here at The Aquila School - to simple things like seeing our newly repaired building and rooms and resources ready to welcome back the children.

I love stepping into English lessons where stories spark my imagination, and into the dance studio where I can move freely and express myself. Aquila nurtures my passions and gives me the confidence to grow in everything I love.

They nurture children and provide far more than a textbook education- they seem to understand students holistically. Beyond academia, they also excel in performing arts and engaging the children in fun events throughout the year and there is a strong culture of celebrating children which helps boost confidence and inspires other students.

Every day, I see pupils thriving in an environment that nurtures curiosity, creativity and confidence. Our lessons are engaging and purposeful, often linked to real-life experiences that make learning meaningful and memorable. Children are encouraged to ask questions, take risks and celebrate their individuality. Every day there is always something new and exciting happening.

The 2025–26 academic year is set to be an exciting one. Families can look forward to highlights such as our drama workshop weeks, field trips and winter souq. Beyond events, our ongoing focus is to ensure every student not only achieves academically but also grows as a confident, well-rounded individual.
