We are delighted to be able to offer school tours Monday to Friday from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

 

If you would like to book a school tour, please get in contact and we will happily arrange this for you and your family. 

The Aquila School currently welcomes early years, primary and secondary children, and is now welcoming applications for our sixth form. 

Is my child joining the right year group?

Using the information below, alongside your child’s most recent school report, we will make sure that there is no confusion over which is the right year group for them, whether you are moving from another school in Dubai or from out of the Emirate.

 

Year group your child will go to:

  1. 1

    Foundation Stage 1

    Your child should turn 4 years old by the end of the FS1 school year (31st August)

  2. 2

    Foundation Stage 2

    Your child should turn 5 years old by the end of the FS2 school year (31st August)

  3. 3

    Year 1

    Your child should turn 6 years old by the end of the Year 1 school year (31st August)

  4. 4

    Year 2

    Your child should turn 7 years old by the end of the Year 2 school year (31st August)
  5. 5

    Year 3

    Your child should turn 8 years old by the end of the Year 3 school year (31st August)
  6. 6

    Year 3 and above

    Based on last class attended (transfer certificate from the previous school)

*If children are coming from overseas, with an academic year ending in December, admissions will be based on their age as per the British system, or the year they have completed in the origin country.

Children moving from other private schools in the UAE

To complete your registration process, we need to have a transfer certificate (TC) from your child’s previous school. Please visit your previous school and ask them to issue the transfer certificate for your child.
