The Aquila School will open in September 2018 and will initially welcome early years and primary children (up to Year 6), and will then grow in subsequent years to become an all-through school by September 2021.

To support this, we are rewarding all enrolled families with an extra 5% off your child’s tuition fees if you refer a friend to join The Aquila School.

Is my child joining the right year group?

Using the below age cut-off from KHDA, as well as your child‘s most recent school report, we will make sure that there is no confusion over which is the right year group for them, whether you are moving from another school in Dubai or from out of the emirate.

*If the children are in the Indian curriculum then it is based on the year they have completed, not the one they started in April 2018.

HOW TO APPLY

Our admissions policy has been written to ensure that the school is following fair and appropriate procedures regarding the selection of children. It sets out the requirements for admissions in line with KHDA regulations.

STEP 1 Submit your application:

Register your parent account and complete your application here. You can contact our Head of Admissions with any questions on +971 (0) 4 556 5712 or admissions@theaquilaschool.com.

STEP 2 Meet and tour:

Once we have reviewed your application, we will invite you to meet with us to give you the opportunity to ask questions about the school and understand more about us. This meeting is also a chance for us to learn and understand what is important to you and your family. We will engage your child in a range of activities appropriate to their age and stage of development so that we can get to know them.

STEP 3 Securing your child’s place:

We will contact you as soon as possible after the visit. Once you receive an offer, you have one week to complete registration and to pay the registration fee to secure your place. The registration fee is 2,500 AED and is deductible from the first term’s school fees. This fee is non-refundable. By this stage, your child’s documents will have all been submitted.

STEP 4 Starting school:

The school fees should be paid for the term before the first day of school. Placement of our students in their new class is carried out by our teachers and senior team, and you will be invited into school before term begins to meet us and to find out about the day-to-day running of our new school. We then look forward to welcoming you on your first day!
