The Aquila School currently welcomes early years, primary and secondary children (up to Year 7), and then will grow in subsequent years to become an all-through school offering IB and BTEC curriculum in Years 12 and 13.

At The Aquila School, we recognise that parents and friends are the best ambassadors for our unique style of learning and community-minded environment. To support this, we are rewarding all enrolled families with an extra 1000 AED off your child’s tuition fees if you refer a friend to join The Aquila School.

Is my child joining the right year group?

Using the below age cut-off from KHDA, as well as your child‘s most recent school report, we will make sure that there is no confusion over which is the right year group for them, whether you are moving from another school in Dubai or from out of the emirate.

Children moving from other private schools in Dubai:

To complete your registration process, we need to have a leaving request (LC) from your child’s previous school. Please visit your previous school and ask them to issue the leaving certificate for your child. You will need to pay them 120 AED. Then, please visit our school bringing the leaving certificate and the original Emirates ID for yourself and your child to register him on KHDA system with The Aquila School.

*If the children are in the Indian curriculum then it is based on the year they have completed, not the one they started in April 2019.

HOW TO APPLY

Our admissions policy has been written to ensure that the school is following fair and appropriate procedures regarding the selection of children. It sets out the requirements for admissions in line with KHDA regulations.

STEP 1 Submit your application:

Register your parent account and complete your application here. You can contact our Admissions team with any questions on +971 (0) 4 586 2777 or admissions@theaquilaschool.com.

STEP 2 Meet and tour:

Once we have reviewed your application, we will invite you to meet with us to give you the opportunity to ask questions about the school and understand more about us. This meeting is also a chance for us to learn and understand what is important to you and your family. We will engage your child in a range of activities appropriate to their age and stage of development so that we can get to know them.

STEP 3 Securing your child’s place:

We will contact you as soon as possible after the visit. Once you receive an offer, you have one week to complete registration and to pay the registration fee to secure your place. The registration fee is 2,500 AED and is deductible from the first term’s school fees. This fee is non-refundable. By this stage, your child’s documents will have all been submitted.

STEP 4 Starting school:

The school fees should be paid for the term before the first day of school. Placement of our students in their new class is carried out by our teachers and senior team, and you will be invited into school before term begins to meet us and to find out about the day-to-day running of our new school. We then look forward to welcoming you on your first day!
