The Aquila School is a proud member of British Schools in the Middle East (BSME), a supporting network for high quality British international schools in the Middle East.
The Aquila School features in their June newsletter, showing how we incorporate sustainable learning through our hydroponics farm. Our children have the opportunity to grow their own fruits and vegetables in school, which can be used in food technology lessons or even to start up their own enterprise projects. The farm has successfully grown peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, eggplant, herbs and cucumbers, all of which have been used in a variety of lessons for all age groups.
